And I officially hate packing!

I'm glad I started packing when I did! It seemed early at the time but now that we only have THIRTEEN days until we leave, and are down to the last few things to pack, I'm feeling optimistic! However, I do HATE it when you get to those last few awkward items that won't fit together in one freakin box!!!

Soooo after many weeks of pondering and getting several quotes from moving companies we have decided to move with whatever fits in our car! We figure our stuff is not worth the amount it would cost us to ship it there and ship back again (because we WILL be coming back)! My parents have graciously offered us a room at their house where we are going to store the stuff that we cannot bring! And they thought after I got married they were rid of me and my stuff forever, ahahahaha!!!

Our landlords (and family friends) have donated a roof top cargo box to us in which we are shoving our clothes and blankets and shoes and camping...Ok, realistically - in which we are shoving MY clothes in (cuz we know thats all that will fit)! The rest of the car will be full of camping gear a.k.a our future homes furniture :) We have decided that we are going to drive through the US of A, camping our way to Kingston!

As the time gets closer and more people are asking "are you excited?", my answer is "it's bittersweet". Not only do I like the word, but on one hand I am excited for the adventure we are about to go on but on the other hand it is soooo far from all our loved ones :( BUT I did just find out that I am only 100 airmiles away from a round trip from Kingston to Vancouver! I guess its not that far....
