Isn't it Grand!

Hannah is 3 weeks old today!  Crazy how fast time fly's by...And there isn't much to report.  Our life consists of minimal sleep, many diaper changes and nursing :)  I'm not complaining though, we have a pretty good little girl.  At her second doctor's appointment we discovered she had gained almost a full pound in her second week!  Apparently that is a lot so the doctor suggested that during the night when she fusses, to just give her a soother.  I thought that would mean more sleep for us but for some reason I feel it hasn't worked out that way...

As for my recovery, besides the sleep depravation I think I'm doing pretty good!  I'm moving a little quicker, taking less pain killers and have graduated myself from hospital underwear back to normal underwear (hey, that stuff was comfortable!).  I've been out driving a few times which has gone well but I do need to keep reminding myself to take it easy!

Carl's job is going well, he's enjoying the fact that I don't want the car as much because it means a quicker commute for him!  Hannah and I enjoy having him home earlier too :)

This past weekend we made our first trip to Whistler to visit Mamo and Papa Funk! We took Hannah out in her new stroller for the first time!

Since Hannah has been born, I've realized how lucky we are to have so much family around us!  Hannah has met all of her grandparents including her great grandparents!  I think it's a "grand" thing to have so many grandparents and neat to see the generations so I thought I'd share it.
